One Love For Chi – Free Benefit Concert Details
Are you a fan of the Deftones? Would you like to feel like a good person and help them out in a time of need? If you answered yes to both these questions you should swing by One Love For Chi at the Fairplex in Pomona on August 14th, for a FREE concert.
As you all may have heard Chi Cheng (Deftones’ bass player) was in a car accident in November 2008. Suffering very serious injuries, Cheng has been struggling to make a recovery ever since.
Oneloveforchi was created to help take the stress off his family and the enormous medical bills.

This year’s event will feature bands such as P.O.D., Brian “HEAD” Welch formerly of Korn, Living Sacrifice, The Chariot, Secret and Whisper, and All Or Nothing coming out to show their support and help raise money for their fellow musician.
The show starts at 3pm but come early to check out the skate area, silent auction and much much more.

I like this but it was a bit misleading. I thought the Deftones would be performing. Oh well. Still a beautiful gesture.
