99 Problems And A Bitch Ain’t One
There is an artist by the name of Hugo who has recently entered my life and I am a bit smitten by the sound of his voice and the incredibly intoxicating vibe he gives off. He’s delta blues and rock-n-roll soaked in whiskey.
Hugo’s song “Bread and Butter” was recently featured on the season 7 premiere episode of Entourage and I hope beyond hope that he plays a show in Cali at some point in the near future. When he does, I’m so there AND I’m taking you with me.
My friend and KROQ phone-op Derek Waltz played me Hugo’s cover of Jay-Z’s “99 Problems” and I just can’t get enough of it. To say I have it on heavy rotation is an understatement.
