Paramore’s Hayley Williams Performs With Deftones

Glowing red hair and all, [lastfm]Paramore[/lastfm] front woman Hayley Williams took the stage with the [lastfm]Deftones[/lastfm] in Luxembourg yesterday to perform a duet of Passenger. That job is usually taken by [lastfm]Tool[/lastfm]’s Maynard James Keenan, however Hayley filled in in his absence.

Some might question Hayley singing along side a band as heavy as the Deftones, but you’ll have to be the judge for yourself.

First of all…Paramore is ok and I like what she does for females, girls these days need someone like her to look up to instead of people like Beyonce and Brittney Spears…Lady Gaga is an exception cuz she is an artist and plays her self as a character which is cool. Anyways Deftones Passanger with Maynard James Keenan can NOT be covered especially be her! Lol cmon it’s worth a try but seriously MJK of TOOL is a living GOD and his voice should not be attempted or recreated! Passanger is a classic that I put down as one of my all time favorites!

Got to admit though I give the girl mad props for going on stage and giving this song a shot! Proves how tuff she really is

Not to take the place of Maynard, but I would’ve totally been into it if I saw it. Deftones are like fine wine and just keep getting better with age!
