It’s been a very exciting past couple days here at KROQ especially in the afternoon time. From Gavin Rossdale stopping by yesterday and World Premiering a new Bush song to the big KROQ Epicenter Twenty Ten announcement to Blink-182 bassist Mark Hoppus calling in today, it’s been… well, my head’s spinning.

Mark Hoppus called to let us all know that new Blink-182 music should be ready before we hit 2011 (he promised I would be the first to have it). “Were hoping for 2010 were working towards that, but until something’s great we’re not going to release it, we’re not going to release something too soon just to have something out there and then have it suck.
“We want to have something that’s really great and something that we’re proud of and something that people are going to love,” says Hoppus.
We also talked about the Blinkumentary and his brand new TV show which he is hosting on FUSE. Excitingly, Hoppus says, “Oh man, they gave me my own TV show. I get to interview bands, we have live performances, I get a studio, I get a whole staff of people and it’s just television musical optimists and it’s going to be really fun.” Hoppus is a great, funny, and entertaining guy.
