Slash Attacked Onstage In Italy
There are many benefits going to concerts. Embracing your favorite artists whilst drinking copious amounts of alcohol usually tops that list. Another benefit is the live element, which means to expect the unexpected. Whether it’s Josh Homme transforming into the ginger devil and blasting vulgarities like no one’s business to a “fan,” or Iggy Pop falling flat on his face after a failed stage-dive, at a rock n’ roll concert anything goes.
In some cases, an uber-douche (such as the one you are about to witness) might disrupt a performance in attempt to harm an artist.

Slash had this to say on the incident, “It was a rowdy crowd for sure – but amazing. The guy who nailed me didn’t take me down but he busted my poor guitar. Ah well… it was a kick-ass rock show.”
I don’t know what’s more impressive, that Slash managed to recover and finish the song without a hitch, or the class he showed in the previous statement. Well done good sir.

Yes. That security guard was ‘Johnny on the Spot’ with the tackle, though! No one should’ve been able to rush the stage like that, period. This video doesn’t do this post justice, saw better one on youtube. The lead singer was on good timing with that zinger, “He’s like a Super Hero with a guitar” Slash wouldn’t need MMA moves with stamina like his! That drunkin’ fool never had a chance even without the security, Slash stood solid! But did anyone at all bother to notice that through all that little craziness Slash’s hat remained perfectly still on his head. Like fu@kin’ Indiana Jones and shit! Hahaha! Now that is what I call stage presence! A real rockstar! Great find Derek. Good post! Slash did continue on like a professional but what roadie crew he had that gave way to that delay where Slash had to wait for another guitar to be brought out…for shame! Slash shouldn’t have to wait for a guitar!!!
