Updated Rock The Bells Lineup Announced

While Rock The Bells may traditionally be a hip-hop show, some KROQ bands have hopped on stage along side some of the best in the game, including Rage Against The Machine, Cypress Hill, The Dirty Heads, House Of Pain and Nas & Damian Marley.

This year the lineup includes another KROQ artist, who also appeared at Coachella and features a RTB alumni musician. The band? Street Sweeper Social Club, featuring the always amazing Tom Morello and MC Boots Riley. Alongside SSSC, classic groups like A Tribe Called Quest, Wu-Tang Clan, Lauryn Hill and SoCal veteran MURS will be performing as well.

In what’s become an annual tradition, MC Supernatural freestyles the lineup for the event at the announcement party, which took place at the Key Club this year.

Recently, a few more special guests were added to the lineup. Most of the major acts will be performing certain albums in their entirety, with LA being treated with special guest Lauryn Hill, who will be performing a collection of songs from The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill and classic Fugees tracks. Snoop will be a special guest and performing his album Doggystyle at every date BESIDES the LA one (don’t really understand that one).
