Weenie Roast Interview: Against Me

Tom Gabel, songwriter and lead guitarist for the alt rock band Against Me sat down with Kevin & Bean and the rest of the KROQ morning crew to talk about their Weenie Roast plans and performance.

The big news was the release of their new album White Crosses on Tuesday. The album will have 10 songs including the single “I’m A Teenage Anarchist” which you can hear on KROQ. Bean pointed what a huge hit the song is already.
The video features Tom running from the police, being caught, beaten, escaping and then doing it all over again. Tom talked about how the video is based on a real life experience from when he was 15 being beaten up by the cops. The video features some of the band’s friends but mostly included random people.
