Behind The Twisted Video Of How To Destroy Angels: The Space In Between

By now you have most likely heard of Trent Reznor’s post Nine Inch Nails project: How To Destroy Angels. The project features his wife Mariqueen and his long time NIN collaborator Atticus Ross.

Recently they released the song “The Space In Between” and a very disturbing, graphic, David Lynch-like video to accompany it. In the video, Trent and Mariqueen kill each other, fester in a pool of their own blood and then burn.

It is sick. It is awesome. It will make you ask, “what in the hell was that?!?!?”

Well, the video’s director, Rupert Sanders, sheds some light and insight on his creation.
