Tonight I lose my favorite TV show of all time. Yes, I loved Lost with all my heart; It made me feel spiritual AND retarded all at once. Not easy to do. But, for as much as I loved Lost, it could never measure up to the love and adoration I have for 24. The BEST SHOW EVER

Tonight I lose the sound of the ticking clock that Monday after Monday for years brought me the promise of adventure, intensity, high-octane dialogue, and the often misunderstood heroics of Jack Bauer.

Tonight I just f*****g lose.

Tonight I lose all the valuable lessons that 24 taught me season after season: How to gut a man like a fish with my bare hands using only 2 fingers, how to rip out the jugular vein of my captor with my teeth while handcuffed to a chair and badly beaten, how to use a hacksaw properly in the workplace, and most of all, how to do all of the above without water, food, rest, sex and with time constantly running out.

Tonight I lose Jack Bauer delivering unbelievably bad ass quotes chalk full of insubordination. Here’s an example of one of my favorites: “Please Do Not Sit There With That Smug Look On Your Face And Expect ME To Regret The Deciscions That I Have Made, Because Sir, The Truth Is…I Don’t”.

Tonight I lose.

Tonight, I will proudly wear my CTU “Bauer” shirt in honor of all the great years brought to me by Kiefer Sutherland and a consistently outstanding cast and crew.
