Horn Goes Through Bullfighter’s Throat
Man can be shockingly inhumane to animals and bullfighting is perhaps the cruelest example of that. Most countries have banned the “sport” but there are some European nations and quite a few in Latin America that still allow it.
That’s why I root for the bull. This weekend Spanish matador Julio Aparicio got what he deserved. See the video after the jump but be warned, the title above is accurate. You will see the bull’s horn going through the bullfighter’s throat.

Hey, “not awesome.” A) I don’t eat cows. B) It’s one thing to kill an animal humanely and quickly for food and quite another to torture one for entertainment. Even you should be able to see that difference.

Whether or not you eat cows isn’t really relevant. You are part of a consumer society that uses leather, meat and other products made from and tested on animals. You’re complicit whether you like it or not.
For that matter, the distinction between a slaughterhouse and a bullring is based on your own bias. Either way they’re dead.
Just because it isn’t part of our tradition doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with it. Bulls aren’t endangered. They even have a chance to exact some measure of revenge if you want to look at it that way.
The bullfighter knows the risks and chooses to stay in the ring, so fair enough. Having said that, wishing injury on someone is beyond ridiculous.

Just for the sake of clarification, Portuguese bullfighting DOES NOT end with the bull dying. In fact, little Ferdinand gets to retire after 1 fight and head out the pasture to bang away on as many cows as he can handle.

Is the slow killing of bulls wrong? yes. Is celebrating a human getting hurt or killed because you don’t agree with them wrong? yes… You sound like a F—ing terrorist who will cut someones head of because you have different beliefs and cultures. Wish you would get skewered by a bull’s horn, then there would be a celebration of human death.
Of course we criticize and condemn others beliefs and practices. Just because some people of a shared common belief does not automatically mean we have to accept. For instance, the maltreatment and outright abuse of women and their rights in certain Mid Eastern Countries. Genital Mutilation in Africa. Or in this instance the abuse and torture of animals for the entertainment of people. WE didn’t drag him out and kill him. WE do celebrate these idiots intentional putting themselves in harms way and then getting harmed after all the pain they inflicted on animals who don’t have a choice to get in the ring.
SO it’s not the same as the terrorists who drag innocents into their cause and execute them. These people choose what they do and it’s nice to see them injured or killed instead of the animals.
In other words I politely disagree with your side in this issue.
