Courtney To Frances: A (Late) Mother’s Day Wish
Courtney Love is the voice of a generation, exactly which generation we’re not quite sure, but her words punch with a resounding clap. This week, she’s reaching out to her estranged daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, shouting her love for the world to hear.

It’s been several months since the two have spoken to each other, stemming from when the courts ruled in favor of appointing Kurt’s family Frances Bean’s legal guardianship. However, after checking out Courtney’s tweets this past weekend, it’s clear that Courtney is a parent and needed some love on Mother’s Day.
If you remember the story, Frances will be free from any guardianship when she turns 18 this August. Despite this fact, Courtney pines for a relationship with her daughter despite what the press says about her parenting skills.

According to her Twitter, Love pleas to Frances, “Bean, I saw you at Coachella in a pic… I love you, sorry to take to the world wide ethernet but I love you and I don’t know how to tell you without telling one of the pack, madly…” She also continues that a secret boy who’s rumored to be romancing Frances, “looks sweet and like your dad,” reminiscing of her daughter’s late father, Kurt Cobain.
There is a lot of maternal angst influencing Hole‘s new album, Nobody’s Daughter. Could it possibly be related to the sequence of family crises going down for Courtney?
One thing’s certain, Courtney loves to talk so there’s a great chance we’ll get to the bottom of all this when we see her at the KROQ Weenie Roast 2010.

I honestly thought she had known all of that and for months.
I am glad you were not mean to her. Who can estimate her pain? She’s right. I don’t know how many people could walk in her shoes and make it around the block.
