The Temper Trap began in 2005 in Melbourne, Australia, and have rocked sold out crowds in both the U.S. and England. They even made a stop by the KROQ Coachella House and showed everyone why they are the real deal.

Their song “Sweet Disposition” is currently #9 on KROQ’s Most Played list.

More on The Temper Trap after the jump!

The Temper Trap rose to fame in Australia and caught the attention of many after they played St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival in 2006. They released an EP later that year and kept building their fanbase. By 2008, they were playing to sell-out crowds in London.

They met up with producer Jim Abbiss and recorded the bulk of their album in late 2008, finishing it in March 2009. A few months later, the band moved to London to try and build a bigger fan base there. Their album, Conditions, was released that summer and the band followed it with a UK tour which saw most sold-out crowds.

Their song “Sweet Disposition” was also featured in the movie 500 Days Of Summer and is their single that we play here on KROQ. The band stopped by the KROQ Coachella House and performed for us. You can also check out the Coachella Virtual Tour as well.
