they are targeting hipanic and latinos because we are not seen as modle minorities like Asians or any other sort of immagrants. These laws are just plain racists and need to be redone. I agree we need to fix the problem with immigration but not with this new arizona law

I would love to see them try and deport all immigrants… have they ever wondered who will take over all these bullshit minimum wage jobs??? Honestly, I dont think no whitey will be cropping our fruits and vegetables for $7 bux an hour on a 10 hour shift! It’s a shame they are only targetting hispanics and latinos… what about japanese, chinese, africans, jews, etc? Ppl seek the US because it is the land of opportunities, are we not allowed to dream and and be happy after so much struggle and pain?? I understand that there has to be some kind of contol with an immigration law but what is this law is trying to convey?? Pretty much it’s trying to say it is ok to judge ppl by the color of their skin or by the way they talk. (Funny because last time I checked we all eat, shit and walk the same way). What makes it ok for you to judge a human being by their race??? So much for “the land of the free”…. those golden days are over kiddies. Time to rewrite the history books! How will our mother earth ever find peace if racism will never end???

okay this is how it will work claudia.
If they deport all the immigrants, the citizens will take over the field jobs and mimimum wage jobs. if citizens start working in the fields they will actually have the right to protest and demand higher wage because they are not illegal. the illegal immigrants cant protest or demand higher wages because they now thay can be threatened with deportation. If the field worker emplyers start seing that no one wants to wrok in the fields they will become desperate and start offering much higher wages to citizens so they can work.
we need to eat you know so the employers will be forced to pay them about 15 dollars an hour. many citizens including whites would gladly take those jobs, especially becasue of the bad economy and limited jobs we have.

I’m from Arizona, and I can safely say that I don’t agree with this bill at all. it’s effin’ absurd. Gov. Jan Brewer has got to be one of the worst governors I’ve ever seen. This makes us as a state look like a bunch of backwards thinking, minutemen militia supporting, hicks, and we are not. Between Jan Brewer and Joe Arpaio, they really make Arizona look bad. and that’s unfortunate, because AZ is a pretty awesome place to live/visit … unless you look foreign, apparently.

everyone should support this law. Immigrants are starting to take over our beautiful country and our great culture. The hispanics come here and just show their mexican pride. this is not mexico!!!!!!! im sick and tired of mexicans palying their annoying beaner music and not even bothering to speak english.
If all immigrants leave the country then citizens can take over the minimum wage jobs. since citizens actually have rights they can demand and protest for higher wages. illegal immigrants cant protest or demand for higher wages because they now they will deport them if they do.
so the citizines would take over all those field jobs and fast food jobs but with higher wages.

I am an immigrant. This nation was built by immigrants. Now we are afraid of them? Maybe we should start wondering why these “unwanted” (businesses love them by the way) immigrants are comming to the U.S. Could it be that this nation is so selfish at times and we forget that there are other countries with people in them that, just like us, want to have a prosperous life? The U.S. is a great nation but it doesn’t own the world. People own the world and so people will always do whatever it takes to survive. The world is a harsh place…be glad you live in fantasy land and grow up and stop hating on people who work hard and that you don’t know how much you depend on.

Does anyone here even know the ins and outs of the new bill??Wake up people. Law is complicated. Law is meant to govern individual behavior, NOT DEMOGRAPHICS, for the sake of everyone, and to protect ‘unalienable’ civil rights, and to serve the COMMON GOOD. This law is not challenging civil rights or the Constitution. Overpopulation and the crime it brings is a real problem, remember. We can’t just open up the floodgates, just like that. There needs to be regulation. Remember the influx of criminals in history that were not from here? Remember exiled Cuban felons? What about that? We need to have a system in place. It’s not about hate, it’s about order. Don’t listen to hot-blooded venting. They have not read the 10-pg bill. They go by media news, and gossip talk. What we need is general presidential amnesty for thE HONEST FOLK already here (undocumented latinos, asians, whatever) and a system of checks and balances for newcomers. What’s so wrong with that? YOU CANNOT BE INVESTIGATED FOR LEGAL STATUS UNLESS YOU COMMIT A CRIME. (WOW, WHAT A GREAT CRIME DETERRENT, EVER THINK OF THAT??) THERE MUST BE ACCOUNTABILITY AND A SENSE OF GIVING BACK TO SOCIETY, NOT JUST TAKE ADVANTAGE FROM IT. PEOPLE ALWAYS FAIL TO SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE.
