So a while back, Trent Reznor let it be known that he was signing off of Twitter and putting away his NIN touring boots. He “Waved Goodbye”, got married, and walked off the radar on his own terms.
Bean had me put on suicide watch.

Fast forward to April. Trent started sporadically posting things like “back in the studio”, which had all us NIN fans wondering what the maestro was up to.

Which leaves us at, “How To Destroy Angels“. Apparently, Mr. Reznor and his wife, Mariqueen Maandig are  allegedly collaborating  on a project that will surely blow our minds. Yes please!

So what is this project?

As my best friend would say, this is the kind of exciting news that would give someone a “face boner”.

A website for “How To Destroy Angels” has emerged featuring an image of Maandig and a video on the site with a sound reminiscent of good ol’ Nine Inch Nails.

No official statement has been made by Trent Reznor, but according to RollingStone.com, all signs point to this being the couple’s first project together.

A small press release surfaced on April 27th indicating that “How To Destroy Angels” will release a six song EP this summer. Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, Vimeo, and MySpace accounts have also recently been created for the project.

*On a personal note, if these are the sounds made after a night of hot artist love-making…SIGN ME UP!
