Christina Hendricks is scorching hot and has giant cans. Because of the two aforementioned qualities she is already better than most all women. I feel like she could lose a couple of pounds though. She is in PERFECT condition; if you look at her arms and legs, you can tell she is almost at, if not fully at her ideal body weight! I mean, look! Really! There is not even an extra CENTIMETER of fat on her fingers or wrists; she is in peak condition.

And everyone is different. Just because the chart SAYS you should be 5’9″ and weigh 100 lbs even, doesn’t mean you personally should. Sometimes you should be a little lighter, or a little heavier. It’s really about personal health. Seriously, for a pampered celebrity who does not have to lift a finger, for her to be in that good shape, and not muscled up or starved, is a miracle.

Ms. Hendricks is well proportioned naturally. I didn’t recall her in firefly, but after seeing the reference I remember. She was a lot younger then, so that probably explains the differences in appearance.

.Mike we love you man but your addictive personality towards fitness and body image has shown its true colors. If your idea of a “perfect” looking girl is one from the cover of Muscle and Fitness, then you are way out of touch with the entertainment world. That was a pretty irresponsible comment considering your are now a co-host on a nationally syndicated radio show that deals with addictions and disorders on a nightly basis. Stay humble my friend or you’ll end up hosting a hip hop radio show like someone else that works in that building-

I don’t know why people are getting upset as this is just Mike’s opinion. He says this about every girl with the slightest bit of pudge or full figuredness. Anyway, Mike is the best addition to the Kevin and Bean show in reason years, and deserves his new gig on Loveline!

Interesting. I voted that she looked fine the way she is, but the majority of people who have voted thus far disagree. I read the comments before voting and thought that overwhelmingly people would have voted that she looks fine. After looking at the photos, I still maintain that she looks good. BUT she posed in a magazine where airbrushing and Photoshop are as common of tools as good lighting and makeup. Let’s not kid ourselves, even these images are not real. These are as doctored as the ones of all the skinny bitches people can’t stop complaining about. As for embracing this new feminine ideal of curves from women like Kim Kardashian and Beyonce, it’s just the same BS wrapped in a different package. These women, fat/curvy or skinny are just perpetuating this unattainable feminine ideal. These women have one in a million bodies, regardless of the size. The skinniest of women in our society still don’t look like the skinny one in the magazines, and the same is true for the curvier ones. Hendricks is HOT, but that doesn’t change ANYTHING. Women are still screwed! Mike is entitled to his opinion (we all are), but he is still an ASS (that’s a fact).

Hey Mike, let me say first that I am a woman who is size 14 and I actually agree with you, it’s not about “full-figured or fatness” though. Toning up- yes I agree she can use that, loosing a pound or two- for sure. If roles were reversed, I know for a fact I would have the same opinion. In the society we live in today- male piggism or feminist is in the past, nobodys burning bras anymore and Doesnt everyone need to loose a LITTLE weight here and there? I think more about caring for your appearance defines who you are as a human being.. I do think she’s gorgeous, her face is right there with Megan Fox. I would have to point out one stomach turning topic though, her breasts are WAY too disgusting. All in all that’s where the weight is at! Have a good day!! this is such a non issue. if she went 5-10lbs either way she would still be hot, neither anorexic nor obese. She’s fine the way she is but even she admitted she could stand to lose a couple.
Just like Mike would still hit that at her current weight everyone else that disagrees with him would still hit that if she lost 5-10lbs. She’s hot bottom line.

Beautiful she is, but she is what I would call full figured or voluptuous. Looks good in clothes, but probably a bit too fluffy underneath. Could definitely lose 10-20 lbs.

I think she looks great BUT the fact is that there is a standard in Hollywood. She is a beautiful woman but she can drop a couple pounds to look better. it’s her job as an actress to be skinny and hot and that is why actresses and models get paid so much. My dear, I am neither fat nor insecure — I never was the former and grew out of the latter in my high school years. I’m guessing those are your years now, because only insecure women feel the need to put down other women, especially just for disagreeing with their idea of a body aesthetic. No matter how I look at it she just is NOT aesthetically pleasing to me. I’ve always thought she had odd proportions and tiny, sloping shoulders. So, if I saw someone just like her in the grocery store I wouldn’t really think about it, but shove her in my face with a big magazine spread and well, you’re forcing me to look at it…let’s face it I can’t help but make opinions. Yes, she’s overweight and “squishy”, and she’s lucky to be in this business where they can package anybody up to be a sex symbol. She’s got a beautiful face, I give her that. But, to counter what most men here are saying I’d likely pass on her…sorry.

While I prefer a slender, toned, athletic body, she is the PERFECT Marylin Monroe type. I would like to point out that Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russel were both called fat in their day… a modern size 6 (a then-size 12).
Just the fact that our dress sizes continue to get larger at the same number indicates the change in cultural norms and expectations. (and the craftiness of the fashion industry. Men aren’t so lucky, as their sizes are typically actual measurements).
As stated, I do prefer a more muscular physique on a woman. Yet I want to commend Esquire and all of the fine people here for recognizing and defending a deviation from the traditional celebrity body type. I also agree that, in person, the lovely Christina would be an omni-potent sex bomb, detonating all men in her presence. even if just for one night…
