Bands, Need A More Enticing Facebook Page?
Want your band’s Facebook page to look like this? Are you a musician who is over MySpace and wish the same features were available on Facebook?
Well, the folks over at RootMusic have created a way for bands and musicians to have more official Facebook pages. For $2/month, you can get these upgraded profiles which allow you to stream music using Soundcloud, post tour dates, show contact info and more. The best part is that the page can multi-task, meaning that while you are streaming music you can also check out photos and tour dates without having the music stop playing.

I just hope Facebook doesn’t eventually turn into the HTML mess like MySpace.
Note that adding this doesn’t transform your entire profile, it’s just an application that adds a tab to your page which allows users to access the custom profile.
