FAIL: Iggy Pop Stage Dive

iggy pop stage dive fail FAIL: Iggy Pop Stage Dive

The 62-year-old frontman of The Stooges has survived hundreds of stage dives throughout his illustrious career, but after this last one at the Carnegie Hall “the Iguana” labeled this his last.

Click more to watch Iggy’s final and failed stage dive during “I Wanna Be Your Dog.”

I can’t blame Iggy for this one, the guy in the front row (who may or may not be Kevin from “The Office”) is begging him to dive, then proceeded to let Iggy just fly on by… not cool man, not cool.

You can read more on this mishap at Rolling Stone.

Is that one guy in the front row a prick or was he completely caught off guard? Hard to tell.

Nothing is hard to tell from this shite. It’s sad to say that most cool or sick concerts always end up only allowing POSERS!!! up in the front pit areas. Sad to say, but the truth always hurts. The fat guy was a poser! The dumbass posers who made a lame attempt at catching Iggy at the end were posers! And any and all losers who were in that floor/ pit area are fu@kin’ POSERS!!!! How could anybody let one of the godfathers of rebelious rock music fall flat on his face right when he’s about to sing the bands iconic anthem track…Fu@kin’ posers man, I swear!

I too hate posers. I hate it when the artists are the posers more than when the fans are though. I get what you’re saying though. If they were true Iggy Pop fans, or just music fans worth their salt, they would have made sure to catch him. Looked at that way it is a sign of the times.

The fact that he’s 62 and still stage diving is nothing short of incredible. He really is the definition of a true bad ass.
