Coachella Artist Spotlight: Dirty Projectors

There’s only two good things about gentrification: soy chorizo and the Dirty Projectors.
For those of you who have never heard of the Dirty Projectors, grab a pal and take a ride to this year’s Coachella Music & Arts Festival to find out why this band will be sharing the stage with the likes of Muse, MGMT, Faith No More and The Dead Weather. Formed in 2002, these Brooklyn hipsters have been shaking up the New York indie rock scene with their unorthodox ambient rhythm and their transformations of punk-rock album classics like Black Flag‘s, “Damaged” and turning it into a timbre swirl of sound.

The Dirty Projectors unique take on rock music and their experimental synth-rock style has launched them as a top contender in the fight for your ear drums at Coachella. With soaring vocals and catchy beats, it makes sense why these dudes will be playing along with bands like Muse .
This year’s Coachella will be epic, to say the least, and bands like the Dirty Projectors will help make it a concert that you will never forget.
