 Korn Announces Ballroom Blitz Tour

Usually the bigger the better, right? Well, Korn has changed that up and is taking their tour to small, intimate venues to  recapture their raw, heavy as hell and old school sound from back in the days.

Small is great! Packed in together like sardines, legs aching from standing so long, so close you can see the sweat drip off Fieldy’s forehead, blissful right? Well good news for you, Korn’s Ballroom Blitz Tour will deliver just that. Singer, Johnathan Davis recalls that the small venues “were the types of gigs we played back then. Those early tours were some of the best times of our lives. Now we are looking to bring that vibe back in a big way.”

They will also be performing new music in anticipation of their forthcoming album Korn III: Remember Who You Are, set to be released this summer. “There is no sitting down on this one!” explains singer Jonathan Davis. “We nicknamed this tour the Ballroom Blitz because that’s what we want to see out there, the die-hard Korn fans going nuts on the floor.”

Opening for Korn on their tour is one of the hottest, young rock bands today, 2 Cents, natives of Los Angeles whose current single “Get What!” is making its way up the charts.

Dates have yet been announced for cities in California, but as reported on their website Korn.com there are still dates to be announced, so keep a look out!
