New Twilight Saga: Eclipse Trailer Out Today!
For all you Twilight fans out there, the day has finally arrived. The first movie trailer for the latest chapter in the saga hit the internet today.

I’m not quite sure how I feel about the trailer.
My initial reaction was that it is just OK. The more I watch it the more I think it BA-LLLLOWS. It doesn’t give the viewer any indication of the third book’s real storyline. I am a huge Twilight fan. I’ve read all the books numerous times and have watched the movies so much I think I broke my DVD player.
In my opinion, this book is filled with tons of action, amazing fight scenes and a great love triangle. This trailer shows none of that. (except the love triangle thing but big woop, we already knew that)
I would have liked to see more of the action scenes, I think they’re doing themselves an injustice.
Oh, and once again the acting looks like it BA-LLLLOWS!
What do you think?
I will say this… I still love Twilight, and I’ll be at the midnight screening.

I have noticed that Twilight fans seem to try really hard to convince others that it doesn’t blow when they know themselves how bad it blows. If you ask any Twilight fan to seriously tell you the truth they will always admit that it sucks but they like it the books. As if that makes it better. My sister in law is a Twilight fan and we work together and she will come and tell me about what’s going on in the latest book as if I’m into it also. And te funniest thing is that just like all the other Twilight fans, she talks about it as if they are real people. Why can’t people just stop jumping on band wagons and stop lusting after wahtever the mob wants. If something sucks don’t pretend to like it just because everyone else does.

The only reason they make movies after ever book is to make money off of those stupid dumbass teens who would go to the ends of the earth to see it. And I agree the acting seems to blow when those trailers come on TV.

I agree that the trailer sucks ass. Eclipse is my favorite book from the series and I’m not excited at all to see this movie. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll still be at the midnight show too, but not as excited as I was for the other movies. I think Twilight sucked, New Moon was good and Eclipse kind of looks like it’s not going to be too good. I hope the trailer is the only thing that is bad. BTW, not a big fan of Bryce Dallas Howard as Victoria in this one. The books will always be waaay better.

i was a fan of the books, but the movies make the books seem so stupid. i think that they should have gotten a better actress than kristen stewart to play bella because she kinda sucks.

I agree with the post above. This trailer kind of blows… Eclipse is the most exciting one of them all and the trailer is soo boring so slow… will still be at midnight screening though cause its too late for me.

…and I am not into the new Victoria either. I think Summit shouldn’t have canned the regular actress. Eclipse has the most action, it has the tent scene all are waiting to see, and yet the trailer kills it all and yes they include only the cheesy lines in the trailer. I think Twilight will always have that appeal that the rest of the movies don’t have. I saw Twilight like 8 times in theaters I think. I only felt the need to see New Moon 3 times. It just doesn’t have the magic that Twilight did. And it looks like Eclipse is worse

If TIM BURTON got a hold of this saga, it would be AMAAZZZZZING… I liked the look of the first movie.. dark vampire eyes, more background music and the footage just seemed more “raw”.. Ever since they got a new director for movies 2-4 it just seems so CHEESY and tends only to adolescent hormones..
Whatever. New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn will all be the death of this Saga…

I agree. I think that the trailer was horrible. I’m concerned about the fact that they had the director from 30 days of night when there is supposed to be so much emotion in Eclipse. I wonder if he was able to get what was needed from the actors. Doubtful because Kristen Stewart can’t act to save her life. I will say, each line that’s delivered in this trailer, I’m yelling in my head, “Cut”, Again – this time with more feeling. Really MEAN it.”

I think it was good but could’ve been better. If you have read the books you already know what the Eclipse is about so as the “TRUE” Twilight fans I think it’s reasonable.

I’ll probably be at the midnight screening also. Honestly, I liked the trailer. While everything you said is true, this is being marketed to fans who already know the storyline.
