My Favorite Movie Of All Time

I was a very little girl when The Lost Boys came out and lucky for me, I had these renegade cousins that made me and my brother watch it for the first time. Since then, no movie has ever come close to having the impact that The Lost Boys had on me. That movie will forever be a part of me.
Anyone that knows me knows that I own at least 6 copies of it. My brother named his dog after Corey Haim’s dog in the movie. It was and will always remain the greatest vampire movie of all time. Edward and Bella can suck it! Vampires were waaaaaaaay cooler when Kiefer Sutherland led the charge.
Besides being, in my opinion, Corey Haim’s best movie, it also had one hell of a kick ass soundtrack. In honor of Corey Haim, I have chosen to play you…

You know how Johnny Cash is way cooler than you or I will ever be? Well, this song from The Lost Boys also runs with the cool kids.

*Takes deep breath*… Seriously! Corey Haim was a total icon to me as a little rascal myself. His style in each of his movies, the smart guy attitude and charm he seemed to bring to each character, he was a cool guy besides the fallout that was his life. We all have problems and it only becomes serious when we let it take control of us. R.I.P. Corey haim… As a youngster my favorite Haim flick will always be “License to Drive”…Sorry Nicole, “The Lost Boys” comes in third…and I’m sure you know what my second is…I sent you a Youtube of it! Specifically the “Head like a Hole” track playing in the background by that one artist…what’s his name…
But that’s crazy! You grew up around a dog named Nanuk??? Did I spell it right? “With a glass raised and a respectful nod…Salute!” Righteous honor Mz Alvarez!!! You’re a pimp!

I forgot how cool that video/movie was…thanks for flashback.
It’s too bad about Corey, I saw him awhile back on “The 2 Coreys”…surprised he made it this long.

Nicole, I absolutely agree with you. Lost Boys is one of my favorite movies. Corey Haim did a great job in this movie and it is sad that he couldn’t escape his demons. I hope that he finds more peace where he is than he did on earth. RIP.
