Jeffrey Ross is known as the “Roastmaster General” of the New York Friars Club, and has roasted quite a few celebrities in his time. You may also have seen him on season 7 of Dancing With The Stars.

Oh yeah, did I mention he’s also a writer and an award-winning director?

Ross has been a part of many of the roasts on Comedy Central. He’s roasted Pam Anderson, William Shatner, Flavor Flav, Bob Saget, Larry The Cable Guy and Joan Rivers. He also had a part in roasting Gene Simmons, Mike Golic, Carson Daly, Emmitt Smith and Drew Carey.

His comedic and insulting style are a perfect match for roasts, which is why he’s dubbed the “Roastmaster General.” It also led him to write the book, “I Only Roast the Ones I Love: Busting Balls Without Burning Bridges,” which chronicles his rise in comedy and teaches how to put on your own roast.

Ross has also appeared on a handful of TV shows, including appearances on CSI, Six Feet Under, The Sarah Silverman Program, Weeds and MTV’s Wild ‘n Out. He competed on Dancing With The Stars in 2008 but suffered a scratched cornea during rehearsals and failed to make it beyond the first round.

Ross directed the movie “Patriot Act: A Jeffrey Ross Home Movie,” which won an award at Montreal Comedy Festival for Best Feature Film. The movie features the likes of Drew Carey, Kathy Kinny and Blake Clark as they and Ross entertain US troops in Iraq.

Make sure to catch Jeffrey Ross in action April 3rd at Kevin & Bean’s April Foolishness.
