In Case You Missed It: Mr. Skin’s Anatomy Awards

Tired of all this Oscar stuff? How about some awards that you might actually care about, Mr. Skin’s Anatomy Awards.

In case you don’t know, Mr. Skin runs the site MrSkin.com, which allows people to post and rate instances where female nudity is in TV or film. The site has yearly awards, called the Anatomy Awards, which awards the best nude scenes in a slew of different categories, including Nudecomer of the Year, Best Butt and Best Boobs On Glass Scene.

Bean: How are you my friend?

Mr. Skin: I’m doing great guys. You know, I can’t believe it’s been 11 years of doing the Anatomy Awards. It seems like only yesterday I saw my first nip slip.

Bean: A lot of times, movie reviewers, once they get famous enough, they start finding themselves in situations where they meet the people whose movies they are reviewing. Have you had any bad experiences where you’ve been on a television show or something and you’ve run across maybe one of the actresses you’ve had on the site and she’s not been very receptive to you?

MS: They don’t really know what I look like and who I am, so they usually stay away. I had a producer email me yesterday that two of his movies won Anatomy Awards and he was so excited about it so, you know, I don’t know if an actress that would win like Best Nude Scene on Glass or Breasts on Glass is gonna be like super excited that she won.

Kevin: Do you ever hear from them in any other way?

MS: Not from big names, but I’ll occasionally get the very obscure actresses who like search their name on Google and they’re kinda bummed out that they’re now like school teachers and they did a movie in the 80′s and they wish it didn’t exist.

Kevin: On the other hand do you ever get people that want to be “skinvolved?”

MS: Oh yeah, we get actresses that call us up and say, “you know, I’ve got a new movie coming out where I’m gonna be nude and I wanted to get you all the information.”

Bean: Would you mind if Kevin and I just threw out some of our favorites and we can discuss?

MS: Yeah!

Bean: OK, Best Underwear Scene is a great category that I think should be on the real Oscars and isn’t. Who wins this year?

MS: That was Kourtney Kardashian in Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami. I just think she’s so hot. Of the three sisters, she’s my favorite and she had a scene where she was walking around in a black bra and panty thong thing that was pretty ridiculous, so that was our favorite underwear scene of the year.

Bean: So you don’t even have to have a movie in theaters to win the Anatomy Award? It can be on television too, right?

MS: Yeah, it can be anything that aired in 2009. There’s been such great nudity on television that I couldn’t do this and not talk about TV cause there’s great stuff on television.

Kevin: Let’s talk about the Best Breast Feeding Scene. I know that’s not supposed to be sexy and all, and it isn’t, but I’m saying let’s get his take on it.

MS: The winner’s Heather Graham in The Hangover, and you know Heather is in her late 30′s and oh, those golden grahams have never looked better. I love the scene and I think it’s great that she did a fun nude scene.

Bean: Do you have any scenes that involve women making out with dogs, Mr. Skin?

Kevin: What?!

MS: It just so happens that this year, for the first time ever, our Best Making Out With a Rottweiler Scene, uh, Asia Argento in Go Go Tales. It is the wildest thing you ever saw. She’s up on stage dancing and all of a sudden she turns around and kisses a rottweiler. It’s pretty wild.

Bean: Here’s another way that the Mr. Skin Anatomy Awards are different than the actual Oscars; you actually have an award for the Best Over 40 Nude Scene. Who won that this year?

MS: This year was Anne Heche in Spread which is also won my Breast Picture which goes beyond the call of nudity and had the most skin, so I’ll tell you what – Anne Heche looks amazing. Very sexy scene with Ashton Kutcher. But I’ll tell you what – I think the all time greatest over 40 nude scene would have to be Marisa Tomei in Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead. That’s like the benchmark. This is great, but I still think Marisa Tomei is the all time over 40 nude scene winner.

Kevin: Now some of your categories do cross over and they are actual Academy Awards categories, like for example, Best Nude Water Skiing Scene.

[laughs]

MS: Yeah, that was won by Will Ford in Friday the 13^th. She was on Dancing With The Stars, so she has some celebrity, and yeah, it’s great. She was water skiing topless and it’s my favorite nude water skiing scene this year.

Kevin: Wow. Heavy competition in that one.

Bean: Let’s go to famous offspring of other famous actresses who have appeared nude cause you have the Best Nude Scene From a Mother and From a Father, right?

MS: Yeah, so we have best nude mother, and that’s Eva Amurri, who’s the daughter of Susan Sarandon. Eva Amurri, of course, doing great nudity in Californiacation. Anyone who saw that nude scene would say that she’s a nip off the old block.

Everyone: HEEEEEEEY!!!

Kevin: How do you do it?!?!

MS: Obviously her mom has incredible breasts. She does too, so that was just an amazing nude scene from Californication this year. But we also have Best Nude Daughter of a Famous Father, and Katie Cassidy was nude in a movie called Live! People might know her from Harper’s Island or Melrose Place. Her dad is David Cassidy. That is so cool and yeah, come on, get happy. She did a great nude scene.

Bean: Alright, let’s talk about a couple more categories. Of course Best Boobs has to be the one that most people would be interested in. Who’s the actress that you selected this year for the Anatomy Awards?

MS: We chose Alice Eve from Crossing Over, a Ray Liotta, Harrison Ford flick, and uh, all natural, great breasts. And here’s the cool thing guys; she’s in a movie coming out next week called She’s Out of My League that’s looking like a really funny film. She’s the hot babe that’s out of their league so she’s gonna be getting a lot of press. You’ll be seeing the commercials and she’ll be doing interviews and it’ll be kinda cool knowing that you could go see this great nude scene at MrSkin.com.

Bean: One more because I though it’s so fascinating. This is the kind of attention that Mr. Skin pays; You have an Anatomy Award for Best Body Double.

MS: Yes. Well, in a show that I love, Eastbound and Down on HBO, Katy Mixon plays the hot girl. Danny McBride plays this baseball player that’s back teaching, he’s like a gym teacher at his old school [...] Well, Katy Mixon had a scene at the end of the season one where she took her top off. It was an obvious body double to us. We knew it was, but so many guys went bananas because they were so excited to see her nude. I was getting all these texts and emails and calls like “hey is that Katy Mixon?” It wasn’t, but we wanted to celebrate this even though we usually hate body doubles, but in this case it was pretty cool, and we’re hoping that Katy Mixon will do a real nude scene in season two.

Kevin: Speaking of which, one more from me and I know that Bean will agree, and Ralph will agree, and Mike will agree, the actress that we most want to see nude in 2010…

MS: That would be Christina Hendricks, who plays Joan on Mad Men. Yeah, she’s gotta do a nude scene.

Kevin: Can we sign a petition? Or how does that work?

MS: I’ll do what I have to do. I’ll do anything I have to do.
