Which 2010 Album Are You Giddy For?

I recently came across an article which listed some of the most anticipated albums of 2010. I had known about some of this forthcoming music, but seeing all the bands compiled on a single list sent me dancing like an Irish school boy.
Blink-182… Korn… Radiohead… Click more and try to contain yourself.
2010 is going to be fun, nay, epic. I really cannot remember the last time I had so much new music to look forward to. There’s music for all ages and tastes. If no one on this list appeals to you, then you have no soul.

So let’s begin. You like the hard stuff? How about some Korn, Deftones, Hole, and Slash (feat. Alice Cooper, Dave Grohl, Ozzy and Steven Adler).

How about reunions? Blink 182, Limp Bizkit, and Stone Temple Pilots are all planning 2010 releases.

REM is still working hard after 30 years, recording their 15th studio album.
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Dead Weather and MGMT are all back to please the indie crowd.

Then we have a long list of some heavy hitters including Kings of Leon, The White Stripes, Linkin Park, Radiohead, No Doubt, Red Hot Chili Peppers and U2.

And just when you thought Trent Reznor was done (I didn’t really either), the NIN mastermind has been quietly creating some fresh tracks, which for me can’t come soon enough.

I would sacrifice a limb, or perhaps eat a box of crickets if it landed me new Radiohead or Kings of Leon a week before release. So I ask you KROQ fiends, which 2010 album are you most giddy for?

First and foremost would be the return of Wes to Limp, Im pumped as he is one of my fav guitarists onstage and off, and second would be the dreads of multiple members from Korn, and lastly since my high school days mainly consisted of skating and getting st0ned, Blink 182′s reunion is enough to make me spill real tears…

Damn, I’m actually quite surprised at the lack of love for Deftones. Not a single mention of them from any of the other comments, yet, out of all the releases this year, they are by far at the top of my list. I just hope Chi gets better so that they can finish working on Eros and release that album as well.
