There’s no question that vinyl has made an official comeback now that Paramore has announced that they’ll be  releasing a limited edition vinyl record package including an LP version of  Brand New Eyes and a 7″ single of Brick By Boring Brick.

The LP, pressed on jet black slabs of wax, is limited to 5,000 copies for the entire globe! The 7″  is a picture disc featuring the image of wings from the albums booklet on  the A side and Hayley’s handwritten lyrics on the flip side.

It’s so awesome that Paramore is releasing this record package for all the wax geeks out there. This latest release adds to the growing vinyl revolution sweeping across the nation and in some music stores, records are actually out selling CD’s!

Paramore’s vinyl release  is just one of the many KROQ bands starting to press their tunes to the petrol plates. Kings Of Leon released the import version of Aha Shake Heartbreak on vinyl last month and veteran hip hop artist Cypress Hill has been keeping the faith with a new import now available on Amazon.

So is this resurgence of interest in vinyl just a fad or here to stay?
