This weekend, the City of Long Beach will host the world’s largest reggae festival outside of Jamaica, the 29th Annual Ragga Muffins Festival (formerly The Bob Marley Day Festival) at the Long Beach Arena on February 20 and 21. It has a stellar line up including Shaggy, The Dirty Heads, The Aggrolites, Barrington Levy and more.

For complete line up and details, click more.

The original Bob Marley Day Festival was held at MacArthur Park in Los Angeles in 1982, a year after the great musician passed away. It was held in February to honor his birthday, February 6, and has become a must-attend concert ever since. The festival eventually moved to the Long Beach Arena, where it showcases reggae and Rastafarian music, art, crafts and food. The festival as a whole embraces the preachings of Marley and promotes positive vibes and an irie lifestyle. So bring your green and get ready to honor one of history’s most influential musicians!

Saturday’s line up: Shaggy, The Dirty Heads, Don Carlos, Frankie Paul, Yellowman, Big Youth, Gramps Morgan, Mikey Spice, Lloyd Brown, Bajah & The Dry Eye Crew, Mystic Roots Band, and Yellow Wall Dub Squad.

Sunday’s line up: Barrington Levy, Gregory Isaacs, The Aggrolites, Cocoa Tea, Tarrus Riley, Alborosie, The Mighty Diamonds, Edi Fitzroy, David Kirton, The Lions, and Detour Posse.

Advanced tickets are on sale, floor tickets are $55 and seats are $38.

Day of show tickets are $60 for floor tickets, $45 for seats.
