KROQ Winners David And Vanessa – NHRA Royalty
Two weeks ago I gave away three-day tickets to the 50th Anniversary of the NHRA Winternationals. I knew that the tickets were good but I didn’t know that they were this good!
I met David, the winner, and his fiancé Vanessa inside the Top Eliminator Club. This is a tent that I’ve never had access to. I couldn’t believe it, in more than ten years of attending the Winternationals, I’d never stepped foot into this particular tent. Hot damn have I been missing out! They had a fully catered spread of incredible food and drinks. I think I put on four pounds with all the beer and chocolate cake.
After relaxing in the Top Eliminator Club David took me to his seats, which couldn’t have been more than 40′ from the track, adjacent starting line. Turns out David and Vanessa had spent every minute plastered to their seats over the past two days which made me happy. It’s awesome when real fans win… And this time, they won big.
