Megan Fox And More – Our Favorite Super Bowl XLIV Commercials

Although advertisers have cut back because of the ultra crappy economy, Super Bowl ads still delivered some great comedy.

Some of our favorites were CareerBuilder’s Casual Friday, Bud Light’s Voice Box and Jackie Moon (Will Farrel) ads, Snickers’ featuring Betty White and Abe Vigoda, and of course we’d be a bunch of Eunuchs if we didn’t mention Motorola’s ad featuring Megan Fox in a bathtub. Google’s ad was very unique. In sixty seconds you follow a man’s life through search. Kudos to Google. Simple and effective.

As you’d expect, GoDaddy.com brought back Danica Patrick but this time there’s even less skin than in previous ads. CBS censors must have clamped down.

Bud’s “Voice Box” spot took up where the “What’s Up?” guys left off, but with a musical twist.

Doritos delivered in a big way with several ads centering around ordinary people attempting to help themselves to chips owned by over-zealous Doritos fans.

But overall, the web geeks here at KROQ chose the series of Denny’s “Chicken Warning” ads. When chickens learn of Denny’s plan to give millions of breakfasts away for free this Tuesday, the chickens totally freak out. “That’s a lot of eggs.”

And, the debate rages on about the Leno/Letterman spot. Do you think they were really in the same room together or was this a little green screen magic?
