Hollywood Sign To Be Temporarily Covered
From where I live I can see the Hollywood Sign every morning and it never gets old. I still get all giddy every time I see it. It’s iconic. Imagine looking towards those hills and NOT seeing it. That would change the entire emotional landscape of the area. This Thursday, the Hollywood Sign is going dark.
Temporarily of course. Here are the details on why we won’t be seeing the Hollywood sign reside over the hills in all its glory.

They should light up the Hollywood sign at night. the mountains look too boring. I hope that’s the reason why they’re covering it.

I read the article, and i still don’t know why its being covered.
Lighting the sign up would be so awesome. Light it up PURPLE and GOLD.
