KROQ Is Actually Full Of Nice People That Do Nice Stuff
The Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center is an awesome charity here in Los Angeles that provides a safe and productive after school environment for kids in South Central.
The people at the Al Wooten Center work tirelessly to guide these kids in a positive direction. The center is a bona-fide blessing and that’s why KROQ chooses to give proceeds from the Almost Acoustic Christmas concert to the Al Wooten Center every year.
My love Christine Fung, my man Manolo Ponce and I went down to the center last week to present them with the proceeds and brand new Gibson guitars signed by each band on the Acoustic Christmas lineup.
I couldn’t resist dominating the kids in horse while we were there too. Had to do it.
