No one likes to say anything nice about Psycho Mike from the morning show because, well, frankly, he’s a dick. But I have to give him all the credit for turning me on to the album that has just made my week.

¡Viva Mariachi El Bronx!

The Bronx, a California hardcore band since 2002, has an alternate identity as….a mariachi band! Thanks to their dual identities they’ve not only rocked the Warped tour, they’ve also brought out the shiny suits and accordion to open for The Killers.

Just bought the album, it is awesome, and such a great new sound. I’m a korean dude (Hai !) who loves mariachi and rock music. Thanks for the recommendation Bean (you’ve always had great musical taste) and Mike (you’re on notice, keep it up).
