Los Angeles: Under Siege…Rain…Day Five
There are two types of people, those who LOVE rain.
and those who don’t…
I don’t. At all. Not a bit. I grew up in Phoenix, and spent my childhood playing outside all day, every day.
The King of Mexico, our assistant producer, would like it to rain every day.
The King is going to be the first one I take out when I lose it and go all “postal”. I know I’m being ridiculous, but these 4 or 5 days of rain seems like 4-5 years to me. I’m a baby? OK. We “need it”? Not me.
My theory is that the people who love rain come from a place where rains a lot and are mentally stable. Those of us who HATE it either grew up in a place with sunshine all day, or we’re mentally unstable. Or both. That’s me. My sanity is questionable at best. I’m on the fence of sanity. I’m a baby? OK. We “really need it”? You’re goin’ down right after the king.
I don’t like rain. I used to love Rainn Wilson from “The Office”.
Not any more.
I also hate the old movie Rain Man.
And I don’t need your stupid lists of songs to listen to in when it’s raining. (Sluggo. You wanna be on my hit list?)
Here’s what I’m saying. It’s got to stop. I’m weak. I’m unstable. I don’t want to be this way. I’d rather be stable like most of you and be cool with it when it rains. I also wish I was a Laker. You’d be best to avoid me until the rain ends. I can’t be held responsible for my actions.

What I got out of this Kev, is that you hate the rain. However, more importantly, where can I score an umbrella like the little girl inh your post? If ever there was something that should most definitely belong to me, it is THAT umbrella. I am on a mission.

HUMMM….I love this rain…i never want it to end…I mean all i do is just stay home and smoke weed all day when its raining…and that my friend is good for you. Medically of course.

I grew up in southern Cal and I LOVE the rain! Maybe that’s because I’m a mellow person but seriously it’s just a little water, people here are acting like it’s the end of the world.
