Queens Of The Stone Age Mixed With The Beatles… Okay?
Scouring the internet today, I stumbled upon team9.net, a website all about mash-ups. It has something from every genre you can imagine, and all their downloads are free!
I am normally not a fan of mash-ups, but found one quite interesting.
Team9′s most recent album (which is a compilation of their best mash-ups) is called Golden Oldies and starts off with a track called “Eleanor’s In My Head”. It is a cross-pollination between “Eleanor Rigby” by the Beatles and Queens of the Stone Age’s “In My Head”.
Who would have thought you’d ever hear these two bands together? Still not sold on mash-ups but it’s definitely worth a listen! Head on over to team9.net and download the Golden Oldies album if you like it.
There are some other crazy mixes on there like Nirvana mixed with Depeche Mode, which i can tell you is MUCH better than the NIRGAGA mix already!
