    Any band that goes mainstream is a sell out band.. so anything you hear on any radio station is a sell out.. Green Day deserved to be number 1.. they had one of the best albums that year..

Green Day had an amazing year, didn’t they! All those songs are just amazing. and then one of the Foo’s strongest & most amazing songs, Fall Out Boy and MCR. Brilliant year.

I agree, where’s A7X “Bat Country”? Jesus of Surburbia should be replaced with American Idiot for the 4th Green Day song, otherwise 4 Green Day songs is about right. They dominated 2005 thanks to a lot of inspiration from George W Bush

the year 2005 had been a special year for me as i had my first great love in this year

and i left school

i remember this year beeing the year of green day as they had several hits all around the world

therefore i think its okay that they are at # 1

2000-20003 and 20005 were the greatest year of music…
fall out boy did not deserve a spot
