Julian Casablancas and Jimmy Fallon Perform Your New Favorite Christmas Song
Back in the day, Jimmy Fallon, Tracy Morgan, Horatio Sanz and Chris Kattan donned hideous sweaters and performed a rousing rendition of their original Christmas song, “I Wish It Was Christmas Today” on Saturday Night Live. We watched, we laughed and we moved on.

Cut to yesterday, when Julian Casablancas (of The Strokes fame) released a downloadable version of his take on the spoof song. That’s cool, right? You might even call it kitsch.
Now put the two together. Last night, Julian Casablancas appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and, together with a bizarrely slimmed-down Horatio Sanz (when did that happen?), they made sweet holiday harmonies. Oh, and The Roots are the backing band. Thanks guys for providing a gentle reminder why Late Night with Jimmy Fallon is actually a pretty great show.
