sxsw 2010 SXSW Lineup Announced

Every March musicians, industry insiders and music fans swarm Austin Texas to experience 1000000000 bands. OK, slight exaggeration but not really. Once the festival gets rolling you can see bands from 9a through until the wee hours of a Texas morning.  Of course you’ll need to see Dr. Drew upon your return.   No, you do not have a drinking problem.  It’s just SXSW.

The good folks at SXSW have rolled out the first list of bands playing. More bands will be announced. Check out the list now and view my SXSW 09 video below to witness the chaos and great bands from last year like Silversun Pickups, The Temper Trap, Passion Pit, Delta Spirit, Glasvegas, White Lies, Razorlight, Cage the Elephant and more.

The only band I like is Silversun Pickups! Wish Shiny Toy Guns were there again.

    The point of sxsw is to discover bands…drinking is a close 2nd.
