Deftones And Friends Keep Up The Fight For Chi Cheng

On Thursday, November 19th and Friday, November 20th at The Avalon in Hollywood, The Deftones performed two impassioned and unforgettable shows to benefit their friend and band mate, Chi Cheng. The band performed in a bid to raise money for the mounting medical costs incurred by Chi’s car accident. Chi remains in a coma. Among the special guests and friends that helped raise money by contributing their talents were members of Linkin Park, Motley Crue, Cypress Hill, Dillinger Escape Plan, Far and more. Dillinger Escape Plan’s Greg Puciato stepped on stage to perform “Passenger” in place of Maynard James Keenan who is featured on the original song from 2000′s White Pony. Greg definitely made it his own and did more than justice to my personal favorite song. Here’s some video of “Passenger” with Greg and The Deftones:
