The box office is across the street from the Universal Studios box office. If you come in off Lankershim. Go ALL the way up until you see a little street street and a sign that says “101 Freeway”on your right hand side. It’s on that very corner. Right across from the Frankenstein parking structure.

I have noticed that the set times tend to be posted on the Thursday or Friday before the shows. I agree that the bands this year are terrific — well done by the KROQ Programming staff. And the fruits of the Promotions’ department will be on display the night of the shows. Both departments are working their butts off at the moment.

i undersyand you are a top 40 rock station, but there is nothing exciting aboput any of these bands. all this kind of nusic has been done already. nothing new, nothing shocking therefore not rock and roll. there are so many bands that are not played on kroq that are even or if not better than most of these guys. this concert is gonna sound like a big giant commercial. i remember when kroq used to be ballsy and really bring up artists.. now they are the power 106 of rock. same darn songs all day. sorry to bum you guys out….and i know people wil talk shit instead of being constructive. because thats what tv tells you guys to do. peace

Everybody’s entitled to their opinion, but it’s hard to even tell what yours is. You close by saying “peace,” but the tone of your message was anything but peaceful. If you hate us so much, what are you even doing on our web site? Obvious that you listen to KROQ despite your complaints. And exactly which great bands is KROQ missing out on? People always pop that line at us, but when challenged, can rarely come up with dynomite that could go the distance on the radio, given the chance. Actually, not true. The last one is Slightly Stoopid from LBC. And that was embarrassing b/c we waited so long. Anywho, they are playing tomorrow night @ Acoustic.

Good point dude. Muse is beyond awesome and deserves the headlining position on night 2 but AIC clearly deserves the same spot for night 1 instead of the overrated AFI. AFI hasn’t made a song that sounds half as good as anything put out by AIC.
