    The site is terrible. Kroq in general is unnattractive to listen to and to see online. Their talk is dumb and their contests are lame. However, it was very witty of them to play 311 @ exactly 3: 11 today.

How do we request a song online??
Looks too generic… like how Clear Channel’s cut&paste websites all look alike. (KLAC, KTLK, KIIS, KOST, etc.)

    The site is indeed cleaner than before. We decided to trade some the look for functionality. For example, you can share nearly every feature on this site, which is something not possible before. The KROQ Shop is closed until further notice.

    If anyone is interested in KROQ style merchandise, you’ll soon find little t-shirt icons all over the site. These are direct links to Shockhound.com’s band pages. Shockhouse specializes in band merch from arists that we play. We think you’ll dig it.

On the “Keven & Bean” page, got an “unresponsive script” message. Could still see the page.

Tried to download the MP3 podcast files for the Nov 19 and Nov 18 “Kevin & Bean” podcasts. The file stopped downloading at about 20 megabytes in each case. The whole file is about 75 megabytes. This happened to a friend, also.

Are there no longer email addresses for the DJs?

I want to call their attention to the ridiculous scalpers on craigslist selling multiple pairs of Acoustic Xmas tix for $400 or those who SOLD the priceless presale password. Ridiculous! I’m lucky I got tickets- and I’m going.

The people who bought tickets to just sell them for $400 a pair are the biggest douchebags. The first acoustic I went to was when I was in the 7th grade (and tix were under $50)- I doubt many jnr high kids have $400 laying around.

KROQ was the finest radio in the world. I knew it
then,know it now.
Finding this site is so wonderful.

The new site is a mess fest (I was going to say cluster f*ck, but that wouldn’t be nice). If you do one thing, get rid of the red and green crates in the background. Annoying to the point of a headache. A bad one. Also, grammar people, grammar. There is no apostrophe when saying a jock’s show is on “Monday’s” or “Saturday’s.” Just saying.

hate the new website! why isn’t Rodney up with all the other DJs? you have Kurt up there who is on once a week and isn’t half as famous as Rodney! Rodney IS KROQ! He should be NEXT TO JED! They’ve been there since the BEGINNING! You guys better do something to change this! RODNEY belongs in the GROUP photo too! Thanks. And he STILL PLAYS the BEST songs in the world! Someone could LEARN from him!

Im 50/50. Some nice stuff, but more white does not equel “cleaner”. Way too much clutter with ads. Loose the ringtone ad, etc. Too many moving icons for me.
“Roundup” and “Rodeo” sections for example use a lot of space for only a few items. I prefer a list so I can pick more readily, not scrolling through page after page. Same with photos. Only 15 thumbnails but tons of ad copy down the side.
Took me a while looking for the navigation to return to the jump page. “Prev” and “next” didnt return to the main lists like I expected. Like this page..Pre is Gus Porter? Next is Bean Quitting? Not what I expect from a Comment page…
I know this was a ton of work, and I was able to find everything eventually, but hey, I’m at work I cant browse that long at one time! Cleaner should equel faster and easier.

I like how the site is much more functional for fans (verses purdy aesthetics that don’t mean shit). You should have allowed people to sign in with Facebook, Twitter, and other OpenID accounts. Incorporate the Tweet Meme option or Disqus comment system too.

Still, I really like it and was pleasantly surprised.

I usually log onto the site to listen to your station. It was really hard to find certain links, especially the listen live link. Other than that it looks like a blog. I like the new look.

I hate everything about it. The pages do not load properly. It seems like kevin and bean’s page is missing a lot of the content from the old site. It’s harder to find pictures, especially older pictures. The videos don’t play and the pictures don’t load. A lot of this could just be the computer I am working from in my office but the old site didn’t have any of these problems.

I was listening to KROQ in my car tonight and it was the almost acoustic rebroadcast. I hopped ont he computer to find out what was playing and could not find it anywhere. I think the site is hard to navigate and a total failure of I can’t find the information I want.
